"About four years ago I was introduced to bodybuilding. At first, I was skeptical and worried that I would grow out-of-proportion, freakish, nasty muscles! There are so many myths surrounding the sport that sometimes it is hard to believe the actual truth. When I look back on the times I used to laugh at the muscleheads in the local gyms, it makes me think how many people stare at me now while I prepare for a show. "I am a 59 year old service member living in Germany. After I retired I stopped going to the gym (big mistake!) I started gaining weight and before I knew it, I was a butterball. Some of my friends would ask me when the baby was due! One of my doctors wrote in my medical records that I was OBESE. That did it for me, I started going back to the gym. Washington CVN-73, presently deployed in support of United States diplomacy.
We were the first on station in New York on September 12, 2001, and we
are now the carrier on station to fight for our country against terrorism.
My job is very strenuous, as I assist in building weapons. It is
a very tedious job, but rewarding, when you know that what you have done

"My name is Miguel Perez-Martinez. I am an Army Ranger currently stationed with the Army at Fort Buchanan in Puerto Rico. I have been training now for seven years and competing for six. I started out training at 155 pounds in a tent gym while deployed to Bosnia. A year later I was on stage at 177 pounds. My ultimate goal was to compete at a National level (NPC), which came to fruition this year. Getting ready for this year's contest took me through some very weird make-shift gyms in Poland, Kuwait and Iraq."
But that didn't stop me from obtaining my goal, it just slowed me down a little. I competed in Germany and England and did pretty well over there. Then I was stationed here in Puerto Rico, where I have won and placed well in many shows. My most current win in Puerto Rico (27 Sep 05) was 1st in the Over-35 Weight Class, Overall Masters Champion and Light Heavyweight Champion in the open class at the PR Night of Champions Bodybuilding Show. I have also done well at the NPC level, placing 2nd in the Heavyweight Class at the Georgia State Championship, and 1st in the Over-35 Masters and Overall Masters Champion and 1st in the Open Light Heavyweight Class at the All Forces National Championship in Anaheim, CA. My next shows in October will be the Southeastern USA in Orlando, FL and the Mr. Puerto Rico Championship. In November, I'll compete in the Light Heavyweight Class at the NPC Nationals in Atlanta.
I would like to sincerely thank you for all those nice free gifts that I have been receiving with my supplement orders from your site - not everyone does that.
