Unlike many other sources of fish oil, Alaska Pollock is caught for human consumption. Fresh caught fish are filleted, frozen, and processed within hours onboard factory vessels or at shore plants. Then their fish oils are shipped from Alaska to their FDA registered manufacturing facility in Coshocton, Ohio in airtight oxygen barrier containers.
At their Ohio refinery, they combine fish oil with food grade ethanol to make fatty acid ethyl esters. This allows Omega-3 fatty acids to be separated from saturated fatty acids that they don’t want. Their cold extraction and further concentration results in up to 85% Omega-3 yield. They then use a molecular distillation process that removes fishy odors and taste, resulting in extremely fresh oil.

Can I take too much fish oil?
